This summer, we are proud to offer a specialist summer scheme programme designed to support children aged 4–12 with additional needs, while also providing much-needed respite for families during the long school holidays.
Our summer scheme will run from 6th July to 21st August, with session times available from 9:15–12:15 and 9:30–12:30.

We are also delighted to announce that, for the second year in a row, we have been awarded funding for our summer scheme for families residing within the Belfast Council area. This funding will enable eligible Belfast families to access a full week of the summer scheme at no cost.
Our programme offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can thrive. With access to a dedicated sensory room, two outdoor play areas, a structured sensory circuit, and an acre of outdoor garden space, children are encouraged to explore, play, and develop at their own pace.
What makes our sessions different is the level of individualised support we provide. Our highly trained SEN staff work within small groups of just 8–10 children, supported by 4–6 adults, ensuring each child receives the attention and understanding they need. This allows us to tailor activities to individual interests and abilities, creating meaningful and positive experiences for every child.
The summer months can be particularly challenging for children with additional needs, as the absence of routine and reduced opportunities for social interaction can impact both wellbeing and development. Our sessions offer consistent structure and valuable opportunities for children to build confidence, develop communication skills, and form positive relationships with their peers in a supportive setting.
Equally important is the support we provide to families. Caring for a child with additional needs can be incredibly rewarding but also demanding. Our programme offers parents and carers the opportunity to take a break, recharge, and feel confident that their child is in a safe, enriching environment.
We are committed to creating a space where children feel happy, supported, and understood—while giving families the reassurance and respite they deserve.
Application forms are available from Friday 1st May 2026!
